About Our Work
Capture & Calm Walks CIC provides gentle inclusive wellbeing walks and creative sessions designed to support emotional wellbeing connection and confidence in the community.
Our work is rooted in simple but powerful ideas:

Supporting people to feel welcome safe and included
We work with women, families and individuals who may be experiencing isolation, low confidence, stress or life challenges offering a calm and accessible way to reconnect.
 
What we Deliver
 
Wellbeing Walks
Gentle guided walks focused on slowing down noticing and being present.
No fitness level required participants are encouraged to go at their own pace.
Mindful Photography
Simple prompts that help people notice small details light colour and texture.
No experience or equipment needed just curiosity.
Creative Wellbeing Sessions
Relaxed drop in activities such as nature collage seasonal creative workshops and community art pieces.
These sessions are designed to be calming accessible and pressure free.
Mindful Litter Picks
Small optional acts of caring for place that support both wellbeing and the local environment.

Why this Work Matters
Many people in our community experience isolation and loneliness anxiety or low mood barriers to accessing traditional support and lack of confidence in group settings.
Capture and Calm Walks offers a gentle first step a way to engage without pressure expectations or stigma.

Who we Work With
 
We collaborate with a range of local partners and community groups including SEND support groups, local community centres, environmental and wellbeing groups and women’s groups and community networks.
We are always open to new partnerships that align with our values.
Funding and Support
We are currently seeking funding and support to deliver more free and low cost sessions expand accessible walks and routes provide creative materials for community activities reach more people including underserved groups and develop new community wellbeing projects.
