Accessible Walks & Inclusive Wellbeing
creating opportunities for everyone to connect with nature, community, and calm
We are proud to work alongside Wheely Walks and Signol SEND Support, supporting their social media and awareness work and helping share opportunities for accessible walks and SEND family support. These collaborations allow us to help signpost families and individuals to inclusive activities, while strengthening community understanding around accessibility and wellbeing.
By working together, we hope to encourage more people to feel confident exploring nature and connecting with supportive communities.

Walks, Partnerships & Professional Delivery

Creating space to walk, notice, and care for place together.

We offer gentle wellbeing walks that support connection, calm, and care for place. Some walks are community-led partnerships, and others are professionally commissioned for organisations, charities, and groups. All are delivered with the same thoughtful, inclusive approach.

Community Partnerships
We work in partnership with local community groups to offer walks that support both personal wellbeing and the places we share.
We regularly partner with Sustainable Living Romiley to deliver mindful litter pick walks. These sessions combine gentle walking with practical environmental care, offering a calm and supportive way to look after local green spaces together. All equipment is provided, and participation is always flexible and unhurried.
We also collaborate with Friends of Etherow Wildlife to support wildlife-focused walks in and around the Etherow area. These walks encourage slowing down, noticing nature, and learning more about local wildlife and habitats in an accessible and welcoming way.
We have also recently delivered a community walk in partnership with Stockport Harriers, reflecting our commitment to working alongside a wide range of local groups.
Across all partnerships, walks are inclusive, relaxed, and shaped around the needs of the group.
Commissioned & Paid Walks
Alongside our community work, we offer paid, commissioned walks for organisations, charities, and groups who would like a professionally delivered wellbeing walk for their members.
Commissioned walks can be tailored to your group and may include:
Accessible, themed wellbeing walks
Mindful or nature-based walks
Community or group wellbeing sessions
Litter pick or wildlife-focused walks in partnership with local groups
Private group experiences such as team sessions, celebrations or tailored gatherings (please see below)
Walks can be delivered as one-off sessions or as part of a regular programme.
Safety, Training & Good Practice
All walks are delivered with care, clarity, and safety at the centre. This includes:
Full risk assessments completed in advance
Safeguarding training in place
Walk leader DBS checked.
At least one first aider present on every walk
Public liability insurance in place
